If a person is in the habit of tossing their PJs in the wash each morning, they could save close to $100 per year just by wearing them three nights. $100 per person. So a family of five could save almost $500 a year. Put them to the smell test. If they smell like sweat, put them in the laundry. If they don’t smell like sweat, they are ready to be worn again.
One of the more interesting things I read recently was a story from The New York Times web site. The post, titled, “Sometimes, We Want Prices to Fool Us,” deals with anchoring and the idea that we want fake prices to help give us an idea of what we should be paying when we make purchases.

I definitely don’t think you should blindly choose your new vehicle based upon who has the best grad rebate offer, but it is a nice negotiating tool...
