I don’t normally think of myself as “frugal” because I don’t go out of my way to clip coupons, or to get the lowest price. However, someone recently told me that being frugal isn’t about being cheap; it’s about getting the best value for your dollar.

To some, the idea of being frugal sounds like a death trap. Where’s the dotted line? If I want to be frugal, I know I need to sign off ever having any fun. This line of thinking complexly misunderstands frugality.
