Some parents don’t like the idea of just providing an allowance that isn’t attached to work. Some parents, though, don’t want to pay their children for chores, feeling that kids should learn that not everything in life has to be done for money.

Some parents think tying allowance and chores together is wrong while others think it's right. There are pros and cons to both theories so what's the solution?

Should you give them allowance, just so that they have money to manage? Or should they have to do something to earn their money — such as chores around the house?

You probably already have an option on children and allowance. But here are some things to think about!

We’d like to be able to live without worrying about money, and it would be nice to get rich quickly, so that debts can be paid off, a new house bought, and your kids’ college costs paid for. However, there are dangers to get rich quick.

Spring time is upon us and many people are enjoying warmer weather. The change in the weather often prompts us to prepare for the new season. All new sets of chores and tasks emerge to get our house in order which might include cleaning out the garage, doing yard work, or even organizing and cleaning out closets inside the house.
